The Local Resource Center came in 2001 under the measure "integrated by / with the Centers for Employment".
It is an entity accredited by the Rehabilitation Institute of Employment and Vocational Training, which aims to support people with disabilities and disability in decision-making appropriate vocational and professional, providing them the resources, information and support as essential to the construction of its draft life.
Addressees:
This project is for all people with disabilities aged 16 years or over, registered with the Employment of Guimarães, Vila Nova de Famalicao, Braga, Santo Tirso and Felgueiras.
Actions:
· Information / Vocational Assessment and Guidance - with this action is for the applicant, then forwarded to the Center for Employment in your area of residence, is assessed and monitored by a multidisciplinary team, with the aim of guiding and routing.
· Support for Placement - To promote the integration into the labor market of persons with disabilities and disability, through a process of mediation between the individual and employers
· Post-placement monitoring - Support the maintenance and career advancement of disabled workers in the labor market, through a structured and continuous mediation technique.
